We also offer a suite of quality products that will help you get there quickly and smoothly. That’s how we ensure your success.
Mission statements – Our mission at Careproviders Assistance Services, Inc. is sharing our expertise with compliance, attention to detail and quality expedition.
Consulting policies – Our job as consultants is to help you design success; not to act as a personal assistant. It will be your responsibility to do the work. By that we mean, learn, read and grow. Our goal is to have you involved and as fluent in your program design and Title 22 when you get to your Component II/Face-to-Face interview, as we are. We are the Sherpa helping you scale Mt. Everest with the target being the summit; your residential care facility. We can do it... together!!!!
Our agreement is not to exceed one year. In the 20 plus years of consulting, we have had clients take breaks to make additional humans, campaign for public office, nurse an injury, tend to an ill loved one, build a home, etc... then the expectation is that we pick up right where they left off. In that time rates have changed along with policies, procedures and requirements, It is hard to jump back in with new clients coming in everyday because a past client decided to deviate from the plan.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. The administrative team and lead trainer has four degrees among them including a MBA. After attending Cal State Fullerton as a Political Science major, CEO Charisse McCoy started a succession of successful small businesses. Along the way she honed and sharpened her administrative skills and business structure IQ. From a mailing service to a collection agency, she later embarked on consulting in 1996. Mrs. McCoy's initial endeavor was to be a care provider but her knowledge, recall and understanding of Title 17 and Title 22 quickly had her aiding class mates in her courses. In RSO classes, orientations and certifications, the facilitator would tend to defer to Charisse. She started her first facility, a Small Family Home in 2004. That License was later converted to a group home and in no time there were Level 4I Adult Residential Care Facilities and a CPP home under her umbrella. Senior and highly respected consultant in the fields of Residential Care Facility operations, program design writing, management of care facilities and technology with over 25 years experience across multiple curriculum including financial services, technology, Human Resources, Behavior Modification and healthcare. A renowned thought leader, writer, seminar developer/presenter and keynote speaker.. Has conducted in-services, activities and training for over 2000 residential care facilities throughout the State of California.
She and her husband work as a team in their residential care facilities and have a wonderful division of labor. While he is primarily staff and client development, training, scheduling and face-to-face with the CSCs, she does all of the administrative functions. Mrs. McCoy does the HR, payroll, hiring, firing, billing, negotiating rates, quarterly reports, and accounts payables. This has only sharpened her full scope and knowledge of all of the functions and laws that govern the industry. Whats more is, the pair prides themselves on quality care and supervision of their residents, From annual Carnival Cruise Line cruises to trips to Las Vegas, it is paramount that the clients in their care have the same opportunities and life experiences that those who are not in care have. Charisse is big on celebrating clients rites of passage; whether it be ensuring they go to prom, have a proper graduation or having their first beer at 21 - nothing delights her heart more.
